Chain Link Fences

Residential chain link, most commonly in color-coated systems nowadays, is the most cost-effective way to fence in your backyard. Whether you aim to keep critters out or your pets and children in, a chain link fence will serve your purpose well. It is available in black, brown, green, and galvanized. The black color-coated systems are the most popular and are readily available. Another good feature is its ability to blend in with its surroundings and not stand out, especially against a wooded backdrop. Cost-wise, chain link is the cheapest option available. When installed by professionals, it has a clean look, is strong, durable, and can be applied to all backyard situations.

Chain link fences provide protection and security for your property, pets, and children at a reasonable cost. These fences are made to last up to 15 years, and with added coatings can extend the life even further.

Color coated fencing is the perfect choice for property owners who need the strength and protection of a chain-link fence system plus an appearance that blends in beautifully with the environment.

About Chain-Link Fences
These fences come in a variety of gauges, which is the diameter of the wire. The higher the gauge, the smaller the wire. Chain link can be obtained with both ends twisted or barbed (BB). Chain link fabric is available in heights of 36”, 42”, 48”, 60”, 72”, 84”, 96”, 120”, and 144”. The quality of chain link fence fabric is determined by both the gauge of the wire and the weight of the zinc coating applied to the wire. The distance between two parallel wires in the fabric is referred to as the mesh size. The most common mesh sizes are 2” or 2 1/4″, but smaller meshes of 3/8”, 5/8”, 1”, 1 1/4”, 1 1/2″ and 1 3/4″ are available for projects that require a higher degree of security.
